If you are interested in doing more diving at the Aquarium, consider joining our team of volunteer divers. This is a weekly opportunity to help care for the nearly 20,000 animals that call the Aquarium home. On SCUBA, assist with underwater maintenance of our aquarium exhibits, including vacuuming and scrubbing, preparing diets and performing broadcast and targeted feeds to a variety of animals.

How far ahead do I need to purchase tickets in order to save?It is recommended to buy tickets online at least 24 hours in advance. An advance purchase online ticket offers the lowest price for the date of a visit. To view a calendar of current ticket prices, visit the Tickets page on our website.

Are these final prices or is it possible for the price to go down tomorrow? The current price listed online will always be the most affordable option. It is possible the price may increase over time, so it is best to buy your tickets in advance. Ticket prices will be higher at front gate.

Reciprocal members must present a valid membership card in their name and photo ID for each adult listed on the membership. Present your membership card at any open ticket window to receive this discount. (Not available on pre-purchased tickets.) The reciprocal discount does not apply to Zoombezi Bay tickets, and does not include parking. Parking is $10 per vehicle and is non-refundable.

Tickets MUST be purchased online to guarantee entry. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase at the admissions window. On busier days, we have sold out and we cannot guarantee tickets will be available. Members are also encouraged to reserve their tickets online in advance (mote.org/membership). Each ticket will be timed to a 15-minute window when the guest should arrive, and the last arrival window will be at 4 p.m. daily. All guests and members will start their experience at our main entrance. Tickets must be registered on site, in person for two admission specials: Active duty military guests (one free admission with current ID) and guests applying reciprocal partner discounts (show reciprocal partner membership card and ID). Limited tickets are available for these walkups each day on a first come, first served basis. No other special offers are accepted at this time.

We offer discounts for group tickets or reservations of 20 people or more that do not meet the requirements for a field trip. The more tickets you buy, the more you save per ticket. Admission to the aquarium is timed, so you will need to choose your date and time before you purchase a ticket. Admission includes all-day access to exhibits and daily presentations. If your schedule allows, visit on a weekday, when the aquarium is quieter. On weekends and holidays, try to time your visit before 11 a.m. or after 3 p.m. Guests may tour up to 90 minutes after the last entry time.
